Welcome to our picturesque campsite on our small family farm, just outside the beautiful hamlet of ‘Hammoon’, in the heart of the Blackmore Vale. Wake up to the birds singing and watch the sun rise over Hambledon Hill. Take a stroll down to the River Stour or go on an adventure bike ride along the ‘North Dorset Trailway’.
Our ‘hideaway’ campsite is quiet and peaceful, well away from the main road, perfect for couples / families and pets. We have 4 excellent pubs, a garage and a general store within easy walking distance of the campsite, plus our local market town ‘Sturminster Newton’ is just 20mins along the Trailway or 5mins by car. Shaftesbury (famous for ‘Gold Hill’) and Blandford Forum (famous for ‘Badger Beer’) are just 15mins away.
‘Certificated Site’ – this is a small, privately run campsite that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. NB: use of our campsite for ‘private’ events is also available upon request (T&Cs apply).
